License Renewal and Updates

What the license controls

Your license.zip enables the installation and defines:

• the maximum number of apps you can configure;
• the expiry date;
• the customer name shown in the Console.

Keep the license file with your deployment records. It is issued to your organization and is not a public download.

Check the current license

Use the status command:

sudo apk-ref-injector status

The Console also shows license status and the remaining app slots.

Renew

When the license is close to expiry, use the contact form to request a replacement license.zip.

Install the new license:

sudo apk-ref-injector license update --license ./new-license.zip
sudo apk-ref-injector status

The update replaces the license file and does not change your apps, statistics, or configuration. No reinstall is needed.

If the license expires

• Console management requests return 403.
• APK downloads return 503 LICENSE_INVALID.

Uploading the renewed license restores service without restarting the host.
